Approved Judges List

The "Approved Judges List" represents persons who have passed an examination demonstrating that they have sufficient knowledge, experience and skill to enable them to carry out the duties of a judge at sanctioned events as outlined in Chapter 2 of USDAA Rules & Regulations. Judges may preside over a class only at a level for which they are certified (i.e., masters, advanced or starters). Judges are listed by their highest certification level, indicating that they are approved for that level or any lower level.

USDAA has established guidelines for conduct of judges in Appendix B of USDAA Rules & Regulations, which provide that a judge should attend an approved judging clinic or have satisfied other continuing education requirements at least once every three years (five years for judges on the "Masters" list). Information relative to a judge's status (e.g., education or apprentice/supervision requirements) is included in the "Notes" column on the Approved Judges List.

Please consult the "Updates & Announcements" page periodically to review the latest changes and additions to the lists.

At the Advanced level, both Megan Foster and Blake Stafford are minors. The USDAA office must be contacted prior to securing either for a judging assignment.

Questions arising in the process of procuring a judge for an event may be directed to the USDAA office at events@usdaa.com or by calling (972) 487-2200.
