One or more electronic timing systems may be utilized for measuring performance times at this event. 

There is plenty of close parking at the show site.

Food may not be be available on the show grounds, but will be provided for workers. There are many restaurants within 5 minutes of the show site.

Please pick up after yourselves and your dogs.

Set-Up: You may set up the evening before the event AFTER the rings and restricted areas are roped off and equipment is unloaded and setup. If you setup before then, you may have to move. Please check your confirmation for specific times.

On Site RV parking is $20 per night. Please include with your entry fees payable to "MN Agility Club". Sites have hook-ups and are located away from the ring area. There will be no overnight camping allowed by the ring area.

Entries sent by Fedex, Express Mail or other courier service will only be accepted if the waiver allowing delivery without signature is signed. The club will not be responsible for deliveries delayed if a signature is required.

No entry "For Exhibition Only" shall be accepted, except as provided for in Chapter 10 when Intro Program classes are offered.   See additional note for club policy regarding dogs that measure up.

This event is sanctioned by the United States Dog Agility Association, Inc. ("USDAA").

This test is open to all persons with dogs being at least 18 months of age (14 months of age pursuant to Chapter 10 for Intro Program when offered), regardless of pedigree or absence thereof, who have a current registration with USDAA and whose owners and the dog's handler are currently in good standing with USDAA.

This event will be held under USDAA^® Official Rules and Regulations, a copy of which may be viewed and printed online at www.usdaa.com.

The Organizing Committee of an event may refuse the entry of any competitor or dog for just cause should the Committee view that participation by the competitor or dog could be prejudicial to the sport. However, in such case, the Committee must notify the competitor in writing upon receipt of entry, but in no case, more than three days following the event closing date for acceptance of entries. The burden of responsibility for the appropriateness of such action rests solely with the host group and its Organizing Committee.

Any check or credit card that is charged back by the bank or other financial institution may be assessed a service charge of up to $40 per incident at the discretion of the host group.

Returned checks or credit card returns do not constitute a valid entry. Amounts shall be paid within 30 day of postmarked notice of the returned payment if such date follows the event date. Any fees not received within 30 days of notice will result in cancellation of event results for all classes related to the entry for which payment was made. No reinstatement of results is possible, and all awards must be returned within 10 days of notification or the dog's registration may be suspended pending restitution.

Any unpaid fees or shortfalls must be paid prior to the start of the event, or entry is canceled without recourse.

There shall be NO REFUNDS for entries withdrawn after the closing date for acceptance of entries, for absentee, dismissal from the event as a result of disciplinary action, dismissal from a class, or for any other reason. Also, no entry fees will be refunded if the event cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, "act of God", public emergency, strike, or any other cause beyond the control of the host organization.

A portion of Entry Fees for bitches that come in season and for injured dogs after the closing date will be refunded (minus USDAA recording fees and other club costs) if a veterinarian’s certificate is presented to the Trial Secretary prior to the start of judging.
 

All entries or cancellations must be received at the Secretary's address no later than the closing date, after which time no entries will be accepted or cancelled. For entries received by the closing date, the level of entry into a given class may be advanced by notifying the Secretary in writing via email by the "Secondary Closing Date". No other changes, cancellations or additions may be made after the initial closing date.

To be accepted, entries must be complete, signed (by parent or legal guardian if handler is a minor), received by the closing date and accompanied by the correct fees and include a valid USDAA registration number on a completed registration form.

Competitors earning a qualification during the Event that is needed to complete a title may advance their level THE NEXT DAY at the same event, i.e. move-ups on consecutive days ARE allowed.

Competitors are responsible for keeping accurate records of their qualifying scores and the judges from whom these scores were earned prior to this event to ensure that the dog is eligible to move up based upon scores earned at this Event. Competitors are advised to confirm scores earned with the scorekeeper and judge at the conclusion of a class to ensure the qualifying score has been accurately calculated and awarded in accordance with regulations. If for any reason it is determined that the score or previous scores were inaccurate, making the entry ineligible for the higher level class, any results (including awards) shall be forfeited and the entry will be deemed invalid without refund or other recourse.

Move-up forms supplied by this event must be used to notify the secretary BEFORE she leaves the site the day on which you earn your title.

Competitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs, children or guests. A competitor whose dogs, children or guests create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Organizing Committee, be asked to leave the test site.

In the event of a larger entry, fault limits may be set at the discretion of the Organizing Committee and/or Judge without pre-event notice.

No leads, collars, food, toys or other aids or devices shall be permitted on the course at any time, except as provided for in Chapter 10 when Intro Program classes are offered, or in Chapter 8 when Junior Handler Program classes are offered.

JH Beginners Class: Dog/handler teams that have not previously earned the JH Beginners Agility^SM certificate are eligible for entry into this class.  Completion of one round in this class within stipulated time without faults shall earn the USDAA’s JH Beginners Agility^SM certificate of accomplishment.  The obstacle course shall be comprised of ten obstacles set in a simple horseshoe or “M” design.  The standard course time shall be 60 seconds.  A-Frame is set at 4’6” and the table is set at 12”. 
JH Elementary Class: Dog/handler teams  having earned the JH Beginners Agility^SM certificate but not having earned the JH Elementary Agility^SM certificate are eligible for entry into this class.  Completion of two rounds in this class within stipulated time without faults shall earn the JH Elementary Agility^SM certificate of accomplishment.  The obstacle course shall be comprised of ten obstacles set in a simple horseshoe or “M” design.  The standard course time shall be 60 seconds.  A-Frame is set at 5’0” and the table is set at 12”.
Note: the 4 ’ high Dog Walk may be used for the Intermediate and Senior Levels
JH Intermediate Class: Dog/handler teams having earned the JH Elementary Agility^SM certificate but not having earned the JH Intermediate Agility^SM certificate are eligible for entry into this class.  Completion of three rounds in this class within stipulated time without faults shall earn the JH Intermediate Agility^SM certificate of accomplishment.  The obstacle course shall include 12 to 14 obstacles, being slightly more challenging than a figure of “8”.  The standard course time shall be 75 seconds.  A-Frame is set at 5’6” and the table is set at 12” or 16”.
JH Senior Class: Dog/handler teams having earned the JH Intermediate Agility^SM certificate are eligible for entry into this class.  Completion of three rounds in this class within stipulated time without faults shall earn the JH Senior Agility^SM certificate of accomplishment.  The obstacle course shall include 13 to 15 obstacles, being slightly more challenging than a figure of “8”.  The standard course time shall be at a rate of two yards per second not to exceed 75 seconds.  A-Frame is set at 5’10” (5’6” for 8” and 12” jump heights) and the table is set at 12” or 16”.
JH Jumpers:
Open to all junior handler/dog teams.  This course will be run off-leash.  The course will consist of jumps and tunnels and will be scored on a time plus faults basis.
JH Snooker:
Open to all junior handler/dog teams.  This course will be run off-leash.  This non-standard class will be judged according to rules and regulations for Starters Snooker.  The course may consist of the A-Frame, pipe tunnel(s), collapsed tunnel and jumps (the weave poles, dogwalk or see-saw will not be used).
JH Gamblers:
Open to all junior handler/dog teams.  This course will be run off-leash.  This non-standard class will be judged according to rules and regulations for Starters Gamblers.  The course may consist of the A-Frame, pipe tunnel(s), collapsed tunnel, jumps and table (the dogwalk or see-saw will not be used).

One or more titling classes shall be held at this Event from those described in Chapters 3 - 8 of USDAA Official Rules & Regulations, which are downloadable from www.usdaa.com/rulesReg_eBook.cfm, and any amendments there to, which are downloadable from www.usdaa.com/rulesReg.cfm, each of which are hereby incorporated by reference.

One or more tournament classes are being held at this event, the rules and description of which may be downloaded on the Internet at www.usdaa.com/gen_formDoc.cfm, and are hereby incorporated by reference. A written copy may be obtained from the Event secretary.

Veterans level classes offered at this event are open to a competitor with any dog that is at least eight (8) years of age as of the first day of this event. Previous experience in the sport sufficient to establish proficiency and confidence in performance is strongly encouraged.  Once a competitor has earned a qualifying score with a dog in a Veterans class, the dog is no longer eligible to enter that class in the Championship or Performance Programs when a Veterans class is offered.  Complete program rules can be found at www.usdaa.com/rulesReg_eBook.cfm which are downloadable from www.usdaa.com/rulesReg.cfm

The handler of a dog entered in Team or Versatility Pairs that is required to jump a higher height by virtue of the judge's measurement must notify the secretary immediately.   Should the higher jump height make the dog ineligible for their team (three jump heights), the secretary will make every effort to form complete teams from available dogs.  The dog may not be moved to Versatility Pairs.

In the event the competitor is unprepared to run their dog at the higher jump height, they may run in the tournament For Exhibition Only. No member of the Team or Pair may earn a tournament qualification, but Team or Pairs partners are eligible for individual placements, tournament top ten points and Lifetime Achievement Qs in the individual tournament classes.

Dogs entered as partners in pairs relay at this event may be combined without regard to jump height, i.e. a mini dog may be entered as a partner with an open dog.  Any pair consisting of at least one open dog must qualify in accordance with the QCT set forth by the judge of record for Open Pairs AND will be considered an open pair for placement purposes.

2012 Grand Prix of Dog Agility^® World Championships - Local Qualifier

• First through third place ribbons in each jump height.   
• The first place qualifying handler/dog team in each height class shall earn a “bye” voucher, permitting them to directly advance to the final round of a Type I Regional Championship.

2012 Performance Grand Prix^SM Championships - Local Qualifier

• First through third place ribbons in each jump height .   
• The first place qualifying handler/dog team in each height class shall earn a “bye” voucher, permitting them to directly advance to the final round of a Type I Regional Championship.

2012 Dog Agility Steeplechase^® and Performance Speed Jumping
In Round 2 prize money will be awarded in accordance to tournament rules.

2012 Dog Agility Masters^® Team Tournament

Individual Awards - Placement rosettes shall be awarded to first through third place in each jump height in each class other than team relay.  In the three-dog relay class, first through third place teams will receive rosettes. 

2012 Performance Versatility Pairs^SM
Individual Awards - Placement rosettes shall be awarded to first through third place in each jump height in each class other than relay.  In the relay class, 1st-3rd place pairs will receive rosettes.
 

Standard Classes (Championship/Performance/Veterans)

• First through third place rosettes in Masters/PIII/Vet and Advanced/PII classes, first through fifth place rosettes in Starters/PI classes, in each height category.  Maroon ribbons will be awarded to all dogs with qualifying scores.

Nonstandard Classes (Championship/Performance/Veterans)

• First through third place rosettes in Masters/PIII/Vet and Advanced/PII classes, first through fifth place rosettes in Starters/PI classes, in each height category(Open/Mini for pairs).  Maroon ribbons will be awarded to all dogs with qualifying scores when applicable.

Standard Agility Classes

• a “gold medallion” will be awarded to all runs with 5 faults or less.
• a “silver medallion” will be awarded to all runs with 15 faults or less.
• a “bronze medallion” will be awarded for any run with more than 15 faults.
• Maroon ribbons will be awarded to all dogs with qualifying scores.

Nonstandard Agility Classes

• Each junior handler entered in snooker or jumpers will receive a dog toy.

FURTHER, I HEREBY RELEASE United States Dog Agility Association, Inc. and its affiliates, representatives, agents and assigns from any claim or cause of action for invasion of the rights of privacy, right of publicity, right of personality, or any similar right.

IN CONSIDERATION OF the acceptance of this entry and the opportunity to participate and/or to be judged in the event on the dates to which this entry form applies (the "Event"),I AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS each of the parties listed below (including each of their members, officers, directors, agents and employees), hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Event Organizers", from any claim for loss or injury that may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of myself or the dog listed on the entry form while in or upon the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto -

I FURTHER AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS the Event Organizers from any claim for loss or injury of the dog listed on my entry form for the Event as a result of disappearance, theft, death or other act, whether such loss or injury is caused or alleged to be caused for any reason, including negligence.I ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS REFERENCED IN THIS "GENERAL AGREEMENT", INCLUDING LEGAL FEES.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND USDAA^® Official Rules and Regulations and rules for competition (e.g., tournament rules) that relate to the Event, whether incorporated in this General Agreement by reference or as stipulated herein for the Event to which this entry form pertains.

I ACCEPT AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY any and all rulings of the Organizing Committee (and its members), the Event's Disciplinary Action Committee and/or USDAA relative to matters related to the Event.

I ACKNOWLEDGE, REPRESENT AND WARRANT that the information supplied by me in the entry form is correct and complete. If any portion of this information is found to be invalid or insufficient to establish the validity of my entry, such finding shall render my entry invalid in its entirety, for which there shall be no refund of fees paid or other recourse against the Event Organizers. Any acceptance of additional information or corrections to information after the closing date shall be at the sole discretion of the Event secretary.
