This event will be held under USDAA® Official Rules and Regulations, a copy of which may be viewed and printed online at www.usdaa.com.
Policy on Refusal of Entry
The Organizing Committee of an event may refuse the entry of any competitor or dog for just cause should the Committee view that participation by the competitor or dog could be prejudicial to the sport. However, in such case, the Committee must notify the competitor in writing upon receipt of entry, but in no case, more than three days following the event closing date for acceptance of entries. The burden of responsibility for the appropriateness of such action rests solely with the host group and its Organizing Committee.
NSF Check/Credit Card

Returned checks or credit card returns do not constitute a valid entry. Amounts shall be paid within 30 day of postmarked notice of the returned payment if such date follows the event date. Any fees not received within 30 days of notice will result in cancellation of event results for all classes related to the entry for which payment was made. No reinstatement of results is possible, and all awards must be returned within 10 days of notification or the dog's registration may be suspended pending restitution.
Any unpaid fees or shortfalls must be paid prior to the start of the event, or entry is canceled without recourse.

Competitors are advised to confirm scores earned with the scorekeeper and judge at the conclusion of a class to ensure the qualifying score has been accurately calculated and awarded in accordance with regulations. If for any reason it is determined that the score or previous scores were inaccurate, making the entry ineligible for the higher level class, any results (including awards) shall be forfeited and the entry will be deemed invalid without refund or other recourse.
Move-up forms supplied by this event must be used to notify the secretary BEFORE she leaves the site the day on which you earn your title.

It is the responsibility of each competitor to be aware of schedule changes and to be 'at the gate' for each class.

Details as to walk through splits (if any) will be provided in your Final Entry Confirmation. The jump height order will be varied from class to class.

Dog Measurements & Certification
All dogs not jumping 26" in the Championship Program or 22" in the Performance Program must be measured unless they have a permanent USDAA or World Cynosport Dog Registration card or a temporary card with 3 signatures as required by the regulations, making the dog eligible for their jump height (prior to 3 years of age). When not enrolling electronically, please send a copy of one the following items to facilitate the check-in process:
- photocopy of permanent dog registration card,
- printout of the dog-information page from your USDAA® competitor web account, or
- copy of your check-in letter from USDAA indicating your temporary card has been accepted by the USDAA office and your permanent registration card is in process.
Competitor Check-in and Measuring Schedule (Tentative)
Per USDAA policy, ALL competitors MUST check-in with the Trial Secretary (or their designate) BEFORE their first run of the event. Self Check-in will be available for those competitors that send (or have previously sent) a copy of their permanent jump height card with their Entry Forms. A printout of your competitor account from the USDAA web site indicating that your dog's jump height has been certified is acceptable as well. Copies of Temporary Cards (the blue paper ones) even with 3 signatures cannot be accepted for self check-in, so PLEASE don't send them with your entry. Check-in with measuring is tentatively scheduled from 2:00PM to 2:30PM on Friday and from 7:00AM to 7:30AM on Saturday and Sunday. There will be an additional check-in with measuring period on Saturday afternoon for those competitors entered in either Advanced/P2 or Starters/P1 Jumpers and no other classes on Saturday. Check your Final Confirmation for additional information. If your dog needs to be measured please plan to arrive during the above times. Please have your blue paper temporary height card with you when you have your dog measured. After your dog is measured by the Judge you MUST bring your signed height card to the Trial Secretary (or their designate) at the scoretable and check-in. This MUST be done before your first run of the day.
A Dog that Measures Up at Check-In - May Run FEO
If a judge's measurement of a dog at check-in establishes that the dog is ineligible for the height class in which entered, the competitor may opt to run the dog in the lower jump height class "For Exhibition Only", and no awards or qualifying scores may be earned. The competitor may not change their entry from one program to another (e.g., from Championship to Performance).

JUNIOR HANDLER REGISTRATION - $25.00
|
|
Dogs must be registered with USDAA in order to compete in USDAA sanctioned events. A registration card
and number with a "U" prefix will be issued to facilitate entry at USDAA events and tracking of show
results in the regular classes.
|
|
Junior handlers (those 18 years of age and younger) and their dogs must be separately registered for
participation in the USDAA's Junior Handler Program (UJHP). A registration number with a "J" prefix
will be assigned for use in entering UJHP events. A dog competing in both programs (regular classes
and UJHP) must be registered separately for each program, for which the total fee is $50.00. Register online at www.usdaa.com and save more than 10%.
